Changing your Default Language in Google Chrome

To set your browser’s language to English (United Kingdom) please follow the below steps: 


  • On your Windows computer, open Chrome.
  • At the top right, click the three dots then select ‘Settings’.



  • In the menu at the left, click Languages.



  • Under 'Preferred languages', if English (United Kingdom) language isn't listed, add it by clicking ‘Add languages’.


  • Search for ‘English (United Kingdom), tick the box against this and click ‘Add’.



  • If the number 1 language is not English (United Kingdom), click the three dots next to it and select ‘Move to the top’.



  • Restart Chrome to apply the changes.
