To add an event* you must first you must have received training by the Support Team who can then grant you the correct access on the platform. You will need to have the following information to hand before creating your event:

  • Name of the Event This is the title of your event. This will be viewed by yourself and also patients when booking.

  • Description - A brief overview of the course that will be visible to patients/clients.

  • Categories - This is to display which category this event will fall under. This field is optional and can be left blank.

  • Service Category - This field must be filled in in order for a booking to be made. This relates to which category the event sits under when making a booking (i.e. Smoking, Weight, Diabetes, etc.)

  • Provider - You need to select who is delivering the event.

  • Ethnicity - If your event is specific to a particular ethnicity you can add it here. This is an optional field and can be left blank if this does not apply to you.

  • Delivery Methods - How is your event being delivered:
    • Digital - an online course that can be completed anytime (e.g. Online Weight Loss programme)
    • Face-to-face - a course delivered at a certain location, in person
    • Telephone - a course delivered over the telephone at a certain date/time
    • Virtual - a course delivered via a video call (e.g. MS Teams) at a certain date/time

  • Location - This must not be left blank. If your delivery method is telephone we have a 'telephone' location you can add. If you choose a virtual delivery method this field will change to a 'invitation URL' field.

  • Programme - Choose the relevant programme for your event from the dropdown

  • Appointment Type - This field must be filled in in order for a booking to be made. This is actual time slot that is being booked onto, so skipping this will mean your event is not bookable. Please see this article if you need a new App Type created

  • Capacity - leave blank if the sessions are 1:1, if a group activity enter the max number of bookings per group.

  • Guests - any additional seats you would like to reserve for users to bring someone with them for example

    • If the clinic has an end date on a specific date or if you would like it end after a certain number of occurrences

  • Allow self booking If the course is to be self-bookable on the patient facing website, you need to say yes to this field
